Had a quick look at Nigel Short`s twitter feed where he states "New In Chess," no longer need his services in regard to his Chess column. lol
New In Chess`s loss is Nigel`s gain, all he has to do is start up his own blog where he can share his own insight`s into Chess and other matters.
I am 100% certain if Nigel did such a thing, he would have an incredible number of followers in no time!
Nigel has been very helpful to the Ulster Chess Union in the past and his two simuls in Belfast were a great success.
The first simul was in 2013 and was covered by local BBC TV and BBC Radio. You can see the BBC interviewer speak to Nigel during the simul.

The second simul was in 2015, I have added music to the background but it may be blocked in some countries due to copyright issues.
The Ulster Chess Union has announced Luke McShane will be this years simul attraction, it fits in with onward travel to the very, very, very popular Bunratty Chess Tournament.
