Watched this video by Lawrence Trent last night. Enjoyed it very much.
Lawrence Trent has an excellent voice, it is the sort of voice most preachers in the world would give their right arm to have.
Anyway, Lawrence gives some very interesting illustrations about bluffing in Chess.
It can be very disappointing if you have a winning game, but you are in time trouble, and you end up loosing due to your opponent carrying out a successful bluff?
I suppose the moral of the story is; "Don`t play chess, if you cannot handle disappointment!"
Bluffing can work in human chess, but when it comes to "The Ultimate Checkmate," it is important to remember, God does not bluff!
Daniel 2:45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.
