There is a well known saying which declares; "It is tough at the top."
Well, as you can see from the image above, Belfast South are now bottom of the first division. If it is tough at the top, it is even tougher at the bottom.
The reason for the situation is very simple. The teams at the top are the teams which have consistently managed to field their strongest, or a very strong team the whole way through the season.
The teams at the bottom are the teams which have failed to accomplish this feat.
