ONE OF MY FAVOURITE CHESS VIDEOS

This is one of my favourite Chess videos.  There is a saying in Belfast which sums this up. It goes like this, "Imagine bringing an opened wage packet home to her ?????"

Proverbs 31:10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.

PUTTING THINGS INTO PERSPECTIVE

Last week a news story emerged which illustrates just how much money is available to fund various projects.

The MP for North Belfast who is known affectionately by the Paisley family as, "The cheeky sod," managed to play a leading role in engineering £3.9 million for various sporting activities in the North Belfast/Newtownabbey area.

Providing a mere, measly £1 million for the provision of a North Belfast Chess club ought to be no problem for Nigel and his party.

Of course we ought to be aware that we are now in election time and "the cheeky sod`s" wife, needs all the vote and good publicity she can get.

I must now inform the DUP about this latest article.

James 4:14  For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

Providing transport for a key member of the BS2 team tonight. They are playing the Bangor team at the Groomsport venue.
It is a nice location and they are a very friendly club, hope to have some video clips later.

Tonight`s result was Bangor 1 Belfast South/Kelly`s Heroes 4
Here is the video clips from the Bangor match.

JUST DISCOVERED A YOUTUBE CHANNEL

I have just discovered Ballynafeigh Chess Club have a Youtube channel.  Here is a video from the recent Bunratty tournament.
You can notice there is a very relaxed "Irish atmosphere" about the scenario.

Here is a video clip from a recent UCU League match.

TONIGHT`S MATCH AGAINST FISHERWICK

An early start at 7.20pm for Belfast South as they take a trip across the street to the Fisherwick venue.

The result of tonight`s match was a win by 3.5 to 1.5 for Fisherwick.
The venue was a pleasant surprise, it was more spaciously laid out than the last time.

Guess what? There were no controversies tonight!
